The 'real' CNJ/Jersey Central Lines was a 4-track mainline from Jersey City, NJ to Raritan, NJ with stretches of 6 mainline tracks between certain stations and then continued on to Scranton, PA as a 2 track mainline.

I have tried to best replicate the CNJ that I knew as a child, worked on during/after college and now model the CNJ in 3-rail O-gauge...ands there still is alot of scenery to complete.

Last night we had a train night and were able to have all 4 mainlines in full operation with 1 MTH Pacific, 3 MTH F-M Trainmasters and a super 5 unit MTH consist of F-3 A+GP-7+GP-7+ F-3B+F-3A. The locomotive engineer on the CNJ F-3A had his hand "lashed-up" to the throttle. As we used to say..."Run 8 moves the freight".

Enjoy.
