Looks great, Mike G!
Max, Thanks I was trying to turn the flash off, but got tired of trying to figure how to switch it while I was taking pictures. Maybe Tomorrow morning at 4am when I wake up.
Gene, Thanks I am glad you like it. It is really nice to hear nice words from fellow model rail roaders.

It really is an excellent model, Mike.
If you have your camera on Auto, you can stop the flash by flooding the area with extra lights.
I don't know which camera you have, but members may be able to help further.
4.00 a.m. ! That sounds like me!
Mike,
Very nice sir very nice in deed!

I cant post photos here anymore. I haven't been able to do anything but a link with this tablet. The attachment tool doesn't work for me and the embed code copied to my clipboard doesn't copy 100% of the line.
I drove by Speedway gasoline's storage today. One tank had a red, tapered, open end windsock.
Can you install Firefox as your browser?
Mike,
You did a real nice job with this project using basic materials.

Mike,
Great job as always, I think my favorite part are the paired horizontal tanks ... together it all looks awesome.

Good morning,
Max, I figured out how to turn the flash off and will be going out to take a few pictures in the dark! lol we will see how it turns out.
Dave,Alan and Ken Thanks for the kind words on this project. I knew what I wanted but didn't know where it would end up, but so far I am happy with it.
Adriatic I thought about a wind sock, but don't have any red fabric laying around right now unless I cut up one of my wife's shirts and that would not be good for me!
Bd, the horizontal tanks were the easiest part of the whole project. Just some 2 1/4" tube, Plexi glass, some plastic screws and some paint.
Side note, My grandson came to me while I was working on the tanks and said Grandpa Choo Choo why do you like trains so much? Blew me away nobody has ever asked me that question before. Still working on a good answer for him! LOL
Mike that's a very nice model. I like how you try to use odds and ends you've got laying around to create your train world. I've been planning something similar for some time now using some oil filters for tanks.
Very atmospheric, Mike.
