No....BUT!!!!! I have sold most of my postwar F units (had most all of them) but still kept some steam but sold my 773 1950 version. I would not like to mix and match. I think I would like to pull all my newer scale stuff off the layout once in a while and replace it with postwar 50's trains. I could make my layout and fully scale 50's RR. That would be fun. Don

Don, as much as I like to combine Postwar, modern and maybe even a little pre-war on the same layout, I can sure appreciate your approach of using an all modern layout and a separate all Postwar layout.

Now, let's take your concept a little further. What about connecting the two separate layouts with a bridge so you can run the trains from a modern little world to a Postwar little world, and vice-a-versa?

How about about 3 separate layouts with 2 bridges, so the trains can go to and from 3 separate little worlds: pre-war, postwar and modern?

Well, my beautiful CEO is pretty liberal about my hobby but we have a clear understanding that the trains stay in the train room - nothing running down the hall, etc.  As you can see from the photo, she also agrees with Arnold that post war, modern, and even MPC look great together!

Wonderful, Don, and I always enjoy seeing photos of your layout. Arnold
