While that is a very neat looking truck. We can only get trailers from Weaver. We would have to go to a different manufacturer in order to make trucks and vehicles.
Ick. Any similarities between these cars with their loads and real railroad cars and loads in the WW2 is purely coincidental. Almost all the markings (and the flat) are modern era. And the trailer is marked about as accruate as 'Made by ACME' stuff is in cartoons...
Everything doesn't have to have a prototype, and as I've learned, there are some surprises when it comes to prototype.

No, you can't be surprised by having something taking place in WW2 with markings that didn't exist until decades later. It never happened because it's impossible for that ever to have happened.
This would be like a "PRR GG-1 in it's 1930s paint" with a Penn Central logo on the front end. It simply didn't historically exist in that timeframe, period. That's what is going on with this truly awful representation of a 'WW2' car. Really, remove the WW2 'invasion' star from the trailer and you have a somewhat decent representation of a modern flat and load, but even then that trailer's markings never existed in any time period.
Sure these are not WW2 trailers they would need to look like:
I think we all see your point about accuracy but as he said these are Weaver trailers and they only come in this style.
So buy them because you like the graphics and not the realism!
here is a site for WW2 med vehicles http://med-dept.com/amb.php
Hello everyone! We have received the production sample from Weaver and are still taking orders on these TOFCs! If you are in the area come out to the store and check the car out in person!
Please note that the star will be aligned correctly on the actual production models.
