Thanks for all the kind comments from you all. It was fun working with the Model Railroad Hobbyist editors. I had expected the kind of "3 rail trains aren't real models" stuff that I heard from Kalmbach after a well-known photographer submitted several photos of my layout to them. Model Railroad Hobbyist is interested in good modeling in any scale (and I guess any number of rails).
The coming video on TrainMasters TV should be out in the first week of March. Previous layout features have been about 15 minutes in length. TMTV has access to prototype videos by Green Frog Productions and they try to mix in some of that with the video they took of the model layouts. I was also asked to submit a bunch of photos of earlier layouts I've built (some pretty crude) so I'm anxious to see what they did with those.
Think of this article and video as teasers for a feature article in OGR and also OGR DVD coverage of my layout and its operation. Both of these are coming later this year. 
Wonderful article, Bob, congrats.....I am really looking forward to an OGR DVD on operations starring your pike!

Bob's layout caught my eye the first time I saw it here.....His and a few others here are my 'goal' for my layout.....something to shoot for even if I miss. CONGRATS
wow, Bob, the layout has come a long way since I photographed it a few hundred years ago. Got to admit, though, that the horseshoe curve photos still look pretty familiar even after all these years. Congratulations on a fabulous railroad.

Congratulations on your article. Your layout is a one of a kind masterpiece for both operating and scenery. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing the layout when I was in town with Bob C a while back. I wanted to see it the first time I saw it in OGR.
