I'm trying for the 1 st time in my O Scale life,with frustration,to set up my DCS System.
I'm 2 rail & am told to connect the Z 1,000 power brick to a "Barrel Jack," leaving off the actual transformer itself-ok that was no problem.
Next,the DCS instructions say to connect the red & black connections to the Fixed DCS IN terminals-here is where it gets ugly. The 2 male plugs look like they should fit right into the female connections on the DCS but for the life of me I've tried everything imaginable & they just loosely hang in the female ends. What's wrong? I have barrel jack 50-1017,as instructed.
