You thoughts please on buying the 1st issue with PS2 #20-3045-1. Obviously it's the 5v model and appears to be very low mileage if run at all.  Are these older locomotives worth buying with the 5v systems?  What are the actual shortcomings of these early PS2 models please?  I have 2 or maybe 3 of them that seems to still run well but I gather that they can easily 'burn out' if that's the correct term?

Thanks for the quick reply GR, are there many differences in this one and a later version as far as detail goes?

I figured that about the $200 but will have to add shipping both ways and labor to upgrade. I have an early ERIE Berkshire that needs the upgrade too and won't run at all. Lights up for photos however!  :-)
