Copy & Paste?

I do it all the time. Nothing to prevent it.

What happens when you try?

I just copied your post and pasted it here:

This is the only forum/website that won't allow me to perform this simple function.

Funny, it works fine for me.  Ctrl-C for some screen stuff, then Ctrl-V here.  Even works for graphics.

I use Copy/Paste all the time for graphics in posts.  Here's one from my computer with the same process.

Hey this guy looks like my twin.  Oops!!

I had and still may have the same issue with copy and paste.  I started a topic about a week ago on copying the Youtube Share link and pasting it to a topic I had started.  It just wouldn't work no matter how many times I tried.  yet a day or so later I copied and pasted a link from Youtube and it worked.  It seems like it's hit or miss. 

Wild Mary, in your post you said, "No, no it can't be me." (That was copied and pasted from your post.) It may not be you, but it could be your computer.

Simple Solution - reboot your computer. That alone will solve 90% of the problems you encounter with a computer.

There is nothing within the forum software that would prevent you from doing a copy and paste here. As you have seen, others can do it with no problems.

Any chance you are using Microsoft Edge?
I tried Edge, but quit when it became apparent that copy / paste does not work. I confirmed this with an Internet search. (other people complaining about the problem)
I have not tried MS Edge in a while, so it's certainly possible that they have fixed the issue.

Update: Copy and paste works now, but you must use keyboard shortcuts, not menus. When I tried pasting using the right click menu I get the message reported above:

Please use Ctrl + V/Cmd + V keyboards shortcuts to paste contents

I am more familiar with using keyboard shortcuts Ctrl-C to copy and Ctrl-v to paste.   I have not tried Cmd-v.

 Well, I'll be danged. I'm using Edge and I get the same thing, C.W. Never knew til know because I always use keyboard shortcuts - they're quicker for me

Stop using Microsoft's lame browsers and you'll do fine.
