Thanks Mark. I'm not striving for perfection, just a decent look. In the real world this would be out of place anyway. Giant tunnel with trees on top. lol. But on my RR - it works. Thx all for the input.

Add my congrat's to others at the result! I suspect I speak for all when I say you're more than welcome for the input -- IMHO nothing encourages quality feedback more than seeing that input seriously considered and applied with a positive effect on the ultimate result. I agree with Mark that you've more than adequately addressed the mid-process issues that inevitably surface over the course of a design-and-build project like your tunnel. Kudos!
As to the level of "perfection", I think you have a lot of company in the "good enough" category! Some are obsessed with each and every detail -- there's a RL basis for the term "rivet counter", after all! -- but I think most of us are satisfied with any layout progress that aids our imaginations in creating a landscape simulation in which to run our toy trains, especially when it's something flowing from our own imaginations through our hands and onto the layout. Again, congrat's on a project well conceived and executed!
Agreed, and thank you Steve, and all, for the positive comments. Moving forward to another part of the layout.
