The article about my layout in the OGR June/July 2017, Run 292, page 47, reads:

". . . 2,600' of wire . . ." This is incorrect - it should be 26,000'.

What I wrote and the proof copy were both correct, but not the final, printed version.

Now you know . . .

someone must of thought no way can a layout have that much wire

guess they haven't built a layout!

Thank you all for you nice comments!

I kept track of the main wiring when I was installing it, and had well over 25,000 feet NOT INCLUDING the wiring for all the building lighting, other lighting, or the accessories. When these are added, the total is over 26,000 feet.

Keeping in mind that the space for the magazine articles is limited, Allan Miller did a great job is selecting pictures for the article from the batch that I submitted. I would like to take this opportunity to share a few more pictures, including some of improvements and additions I made to the layout since I wrote the article one year ago. Hope you enjoy them - - (click on pictures for better detail

Thanks again!

I have received several emails praising the OGR article, and also saying that the layout looks much more impressive in person, which is understandable. I wondered if taking pictures from a higher and wider angle; i.e., as high as I can hold the camera while standing on a stool, would provide a better perspective of the layout as a whole. Here are the new pictures:
