Hehe...that one happens to be some sort of plastic / resin so the Illinois Concretus is safe for the moment. Just need to find a place to hang them now - I'd suggested one above the mantel but my wife had other views on the subject.
Never been to Chicago, but I know a good railroad sign when I see one...looks like you have 2 winners. I looked at their website and it looks like they have more items and they are pretty affordable.

Yes - great signs and very reasonably priced, supporting a great place. The trouble/cost would come in shipping them - the red one is 4' long, the other over 6'. But it was a quick drive for my FiL to pick them up locally.
very cool! Watch out for the third rail! 
CTA is presently renovating the various commuter lines; They just finished the Blue line.
So a lot of these signs were removed and redone.
