Has anyone kitbashed an MTH single stall to a double stall locomotive shed?  I ask because I like the 2 stall shed, and want it on my layout, but it's not long enough to house a scale Big Boy.  I could buy two and put them together, but I think I'd rather have the look of the "L" shaped shed with different lengths of covered track instead of one big long shed.

Or does anyone know of any kits that have such a building?  Or does anyone have pointers if I try to make my own, like where I could get brick wall and windows and stuff?  I thought of using the DPM wall units, but they don't have one with an opening that a locomotive will fit through.

Altoona  Modelworks offers a 2 stall maintenance shop that says will accommodate engines. They offer a standard kit that can be lengthened. Nice interior detail with large windows. Expensive. Not sure what your looking to spend.

You can try to contact David DuHamel of Crescent Locomotive Works. He usually sets up at York. He offers different length engine houses. Similar to the IHC or Atlas. They come in different lengths. Should have one long enough for the Big Boy. Nicely detailed and comes already built. He can customize somewhat to make what you want. Very reasonably priced for what you get. You may wait awhile and shipping may be a problem.

Korber recently added a structure that may work as well. Seen pictures on the Forum but it doesn't seem to be on their site yet.
