I want to put a reverse unit in the Lionel #54 ballast tamper. A gent on You Tube shows the results but does not say what kind of reverse unit it is. Dallee sell them in a 2, 4, and 12 amp type. Which one do I need to install in the #54 ballast tamper?

For just the ballast tamper, 2 amps is plenty.
