Can I power my layout with a Z1000 Transformer through the remote commander. Is the amperage too high or is it fine? Here's a pic of my small layout
My Legacy Lite set has been returned to Lionel as it did not seem to be working properly, and I can buy a Remote Commander 50-1033 at a great price. I also have an MTH engine PS 2 coming.

Yes you can power a DCSRC via a Z-1000 in command mode. It does not operate conventional trains and the MTH engines MUST be reset to factory default to operate. If interested, I have a DCSRC available for sale HERE
