I'm running Atlas turnouts and Cobalt switch machines. I thought I needed to run power to the Atlas frog but the MTH diesel seems to go through the turnouts just fine?

I did hook up power routing through the Cobalt machine just for practice but I couldn't get any voltage when I touched the meter to either stock rail and the frog? I've double-checked the wiring and that's good but shouldn't I be getting track voltage on the frog?

Any inputs on this issue? I'm finding that even without powering the Atlas frogs my MTH Premier Diesels are getting through with absolutely no sign of trouble?

I've been having problems with my MTH Hudson making it thru the Atlas O72 and curved switches. I'm using DZ2500 switches but am unsure how to wire the frog and/or closure rails.

No replies received. Can you supply a readable diagram and explanation of how it works and how to wire it?

Like you, my diesels work fine thru these switches.

There are some pretty good Atlas diagrams on switch wiring here on their website. Most relate to the 6924 relay board.
