Is there a meter than one could use to check DCS Signal Strength over a layout. Without having to run an engine and checking it with a Hand held DCS Controller.

I had in mind something not unlike my volt meter, that I can scan for voltage problems thru the wiring insulation.

I know if there is something out there one or several of you folks would know!.................Thanks............................Brandy!

I guess one could make their own. Any PS2 or PS3 board could be installed in a car and wouldn't know that it wasn't inside an engine. It would report back on signal strength.

That MTH O gauge track inspection car always intrigued me. I've never seen one offered with scale wheels. I thought I'd make a custom one someday in G scale. I got lazy and just used whatever engine was on the tracks! The MTH G gauge coal cars double as track cleaners when a scotchbright sponge is slid underneath. Throw a torpedo level on top and a MTH engine up front for signal......

 Ooops, G gauge again.
