DCS system availablity, Prices and Thoughts | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

I happen to be on that popular auction site today and curiosity made me take a look at sold prices for the TIU's & DCS systems (TIU & DCS Remote). The prices being paid for some of these is absolutely amazing, I saw one auction with a REV. L TIU and remote go for well over $500! It's got me thinking that I should sell my one of my spare sets.

I know that more kits are on the way (TIU & WIU) and latest round of remotes, but do you think that the retirement announcement has created some panic?

Lastly, the newest WTIU DCS Command System 2, where does one pre-order one of these?
