This is a link to the project start if anyone would like to read.

First let me say I am glad this is a hobby and not a job or I would starve. Retirement, doing what you like not what you have to do.

After many trial and errors I finally found what I thought was a very good facsimile for a lamp. I found them by accident in Wal-Mart in the jewelry department. They are replacement backs for earrings that come in a pack. It took 2 packs and 2 days to do the car. Cutting the .75mm fiber strands on a very steep angle lights up the lamp shades nicely. The shades are also in the package of earring backs and fit the fiber strands tight. If anyone would like more information on how I did this let me know. I am more than willing to share my insanity.

This was not a hard project just time consuming.

I will post the finished car after reassembly with the lighting working.
