I liked the engine lettered for the Western Allegheny. Originally it ran from the Allegheny River to New Castle,Pa. Spent some hours taking still photos and videos of those old F units.
Norms layout and videos are simply the best of the best
True dat !!
Norm, great layout!!
At 5:48 into the video, there is a 2?-12-4 steamer. Does anyone know what make and model that is?
Even grass in the cracks of the sidewalk. At different heights depending on how much walk traffic would be there. I would have never thought of it. How many of you have done that?
RickM46 - The steamer was a Lionel UP 2-12-4.
4-12-2
Thanks guys! Found this video of it; road number 9000 - gray model 6-11344 4-12-2 in the 2012 catalog.

Thanks Norm for showing it on your layout!
Glad you guys enjoyed seeing all the exotic power that shows up with the D3R crew. I only have Legacy 180W Powermasters so the mega lashups really put them on their knees haha. I may have to upgrade my power before these guys come back.
