They've got some nice old diesels for sale. About 30 minutes west of me.
Not uncommon on railroads that frequently operate locomotives in both directions.
Most diesels equipped with plows will have them on both ends. Railroads rarely turn diesels. No need to.
BHP Billiton (BHP Iron Ore) in the arid Pilbara region in Western Australia ordered GE AC6000CW & EMD SD70ACe with snow plows on both ends. A really hot place that might never see snow still has locomotives with 2 snowplows. Maybe they are used to push feral camels away.

Those "snow plow" pilots also work extremely well in grade crossing collisions, as the tend to deflect most of the vehicle to one side.
