I was wondering if anybody else is using the Disney monorail train playset on their layout. It is not quite O scale but for me it is close enough. The train is battery operated but I use it for a static display. Definitely not for the prototypical crowd. I use it not as a Disney train but as a worker commuter train for my sci-fi industry. Sorry the photos are not better.

My son has a set and we wanted to set it up around our layout as well. It was going to be difficult since the Disney set up is in an oval which didn't quite fit into the existing layout without moving our track around. It's a really nice set though. Looks pretty good in your photos.
Yes!! Take a look at this, you will see the Disney monorail: https://www.youtube.com/channe...V3Kaxyl93ZCEdA9N6UGA
Arnold I saw the monorails on you spectacular layout video tour. Thanks for having me eat my words. Your layout is prototypical and they look great on it.

You know in G gauge we have a saying “ if it looks good at 4 feet than it’s good” this looks good from any angle!
It looks like the trestle sections would be simple to model and print with an FDM printer. Straight would be easiest but curved would not be that more difficult. Can you post some close ups and dimensions?

Check out that auction site by the bay - searching for monorail - there is a guy in Florida that makes all kinds of track parts - even a switch track - from his 3d printer
Yes, the gentleman from (eBay) Florida is where I got the trestles from. They are 7" tall. I also got some small straight sections from him. He does use a 3D printer. The Disney track only comes with 12" straights and the trestles are 4". Disney also have the one size curves. I have ridden the Disney monorail in Florida and the monorail in Seattle. I wanted to add it to my layout even if its only a static display.
