Since these hoppers have scale wheels...... Do the new Lionel Cylindrical Hoppers run well on American Model track and switches?

The capability of running on American Model track and through their switches is a question not only for the cylindrical hoppers, but also the ES44AC and third-issue SD70ACe locomotives. The items have been in the hands of customers, but no one has mentioned if or how they work on this track and these switches.
