FWIW, the real version of this truck is pretty awsome. I'm in fleet sales and sell these to police departments. The 5.7L Hemi and all the special police "tuning" gets this truck moving quickly.  Maybe that's why Chrysler governs the speed at 106 mph.  Hmm, how many mph is that in scale?

Special note to Pine Creek Railroad - keep your eyes open- I just delivered one of these to Gaines Township!

We have them at the Los Angeles County Sheriff. They're not used for general patrol service (AWD Ford Explorers, Crown Vics, and a few Chargers handle that), but for transporting equipment. And yes, some do have Hemis but most don't. What bites is it's almost impossible to get LASD vehicle models as the County doesn't allow the logos to be used. As for the toy, I like it and might get a couple...and make my own decals from photos.

Most lower end '1/43' scale vehicles are not scale.  I place a pick up next to a 50's Caddy and the pick up is huge.....Caddy should be at least as big. So a slight cheating on scale is the norm.  I had a friend that was a scale model designer. He drew up the plans for the tooling shop to cut molds for scale models. Even he said at times 'out of scale' looks better to our brain than absolute perfect scale.

So question is.....do they look good to you???
