Does LionChief+ share TMCC signal issues?

Hi, I have TMCC and Legacy, but no experience with LionChief, or LionChief Plus. I've heard a lot of good things about it, but here's my question:

Does LionChief+ share the signal issues some users have reported with TMCC? I'm referring to problems with signal propagation in chicken-wire tunnels, metal truss bridges, closely-spaced yard tracks, or multiple track levels (in parallel or at right angles.) What happens with LionChief+ if signal or track power is momentarily lost?

works on a different system, so no.

each remote talks directly to it's assigned loco.

did I explain that correct?

That is correct. LionChief is totally independent from Legacy or TMCC.The only thing the 2 systems share are both need 18v. going to the track.

Th answer the original question, it doesn't share TMCC signal issues, which are actually pretty rare for most layouts. Large and multi-level layouts sometimes have issues with TMCC signal propagation.

The LionChief likely has it's own set of issues that have yet to be discovered.

I'm waiting for some problem with mine to emerge. the only issue I see is that the selection of locos could be wider, but I assume over time Lionel will take care of that.

Lee, I've never run one on a large enough layout to see if there's range issues with the radio signal, have you seen anything like that?
