Does MTH sell plugin boards for DCS, so I can retro fit an existing loco?

They do sell upgrade kits for locos that can be installed in most locos but they are far from plug in, more like total rebuild.
See for yourself, here's the upgrade manual for steam.
Here's the diesel upgrade manual.
John,
Your link isn't working for me.
Fixed links.
Works for me.
Plug and Play ?..... As I looked through Johns Steam installation manual I kept laughing harder and harder thinking I don't know how much a person who has the ability to do it charges, but I do know if you want it is is worth it. : )
I recently got a RailKing steamer from a club member. He questioned the "Accepts plug-in ProtoSound Systems". He thought that indicated he could just drop a board in. I gave him a copy of the steam installation manual and told him that's what "plug-in" means in MTH-Speak.
They are a commitment and if you do not have the knowledge and skill try something easier first like an ERR install
For diesels, the ERR boards are easier as you can actually get it running down the track with four wires. Add a few more wires and you have directional lighting. For steam with ERR, then you have to deal with the chuff and the tether, so that runs the complexity up a bit.
