I was watching some video of Bob and Elizabeth Jakl's amazing O gauge layout, and I saw some cars that I would like to own myself..."old fashion" double deck auto loaders (with no vandalism screens).  These cars in the video may have been scratchbuilt, but I don't know.  If not, which manufacturer made them?

The SLSF trains that came by grandparents house in the 1960-70's always had large cuts of this type of car.

If you're talking about the two-level Lionel cars with four autos, that's the Evans Auto-Loader. K-Line did on in the correct size and configuration. The prototype actually held six cars on a 53-foot flat car frame. The K-Line is the one to get if you're after a correct one of this vintage. They occasionally show up on eBay, but they fetch close to or above retail now.

The original Evans Autoloader was easier to deal with than the box car as the autos could be driven straight in from on end. The hot ticket would be for someone to produce one with moving ramps.

If you're talking about the 89-footers, those were on TTX 89-foot flats. It was pretty hard to find this photo out there. No one mass produces this one in O scale -- at least not yet.

You're most welcome. Stumbled across the site when researching the car. I was curious about the prototype information on the K-Line I was bidding on (lost the auction). What's even funnier is that there was only the one Evans prototype (UP and ATSF had a similar car, but it wasn't the Evans) but so many toy/model variants were done (kinda like the Pennsy S2 Turbine). Based on the article, the car was quite an advance over the box car loading that was done up to that point.
