Anybody have tricks for taking individual letter's,and cutting them off the sheet

and somehow putting them together,to form a word, and having them hold together,so you can rub them on

On some  small fuel tank's,I have already put a individual A and a B on each tank, but that's it

Helpful trick's are appreciated

First off, don't cut the letters off the sheet. Handling them will transfer oils from your fingers and inhibit adhesion as well as causing your clear coat to get "fish eyes".

I use a piece of lined tablet paper, cut as close to the line as possible and tape it to the model so the line falls just under your letters to use as a guide. Use a soft pencil to rub over the transfer sheet. When the letters are on the model use the backing paper placed over the letters and use the pencil to burnish them (flatten then further).
