I'm working on installing two DZ-1000 switch machines on my layout, and I don't think the LED indicators are working properly. My assumption on correct operation is that the green LEDs on both the DZ-1000 switch machine and the DZ-1002 should be illuminated when the switch machine is in the "right" position and both red LEDs should be lit when in the "left" position.
The switch machines are working fine, but the LEDs don't seem to be illuminating correctly. When the machine is in the "right" position, the red LED on the machine is lit and both the red and green LEDs on the controller are lit. When the machine is in the "left" position, no LEDs are lit (either machine or controller). When I'm pressing the button on the controller for the "right" position (button beside the green LED on the controller), the red LED is lit on the controller and the red LED is lit on the machine. When I'm pressing the button on the controller for the "left" position (button near the red LED), no LED is lit on the controller and the green LED is lit on the machine.
I don't have the non-derailing function setup.
I'm running 12VAC to the switch machine.
