E6000 vs. GOOP/Goo

In another thread a forumite mentioned an application that I soon will be undertaking myself, one in which he said that he used E6000 with perfect results. I'm wondering: I have GOOP and also Alene's adhesive for slippery things (both are similar to me) and am now wondering if either is like E6000. Or - is E6000 a better, stronger, more permanent adhesive?
