Great read thanks for posting kinda reminds me of me and my basement train room/man cave 2000 sq ft all mine but I did spent the kind of money in the article I to cheap and did the work myself with the help of my loving bride of 38 years.
Very enjoyable article! I do believe a link to the same article was posted on an earlier OGR thread back in August. I'm sure that's where I saw it before. Then again I could be wrong.
Perhaps not as elaborate, my favorite remains the layout shown on the rear cover of Lionel's 1957 catalog.
