My Q Prr and Dryfus NYC both had rough derailments and will not respond to dcs or regular operation. Thanks for any and all help

First thought is to make sure you electronics board are all seated. Then check for broken wires.
What have you tried so far? Blown fuse? Circuit breaker tripped? Do other engines work on the same track? Does the red light in your TIU light?
Item numbers would also help
All is good,others run
we need to know your engine item or no one can help you Lionel MTh's engines! chances are you have damaged the electronics' in your engine from your track derailment! most engine's especially mth are easily damaged from the voltage spikes that are created when you have a momentary track shorts like derailment accidents which creates a large voltage spike which can damage tiu and or engines ! the tiu has tvs diode protection to help catch the voltage spikes but engine electronics does not! ps 3 engine seem to be very susceptible to this damage. that's why we need to know which engine ps2 ps 3 or whatever to give you an honest opinion!

All are ps2. I have a 10 amp fuse before the tiu,so electronics should be ok I hope.
If everything else is working except those two engines, Alan is probably right. It doesn’t take much to fry these boards; by the time your 10 amp fuse blew it was, probably, over.
Sometimes these boards can be fixed. There are a few techs out there, including Alan, who can help you.
Like Alan said, what are the actual product numbers?
In the picture. 5452 NYC proto2 scale,Prr atlantic proto 2, scale, and Prr scale Q, photo 2. Didn't feel like going to basement for numbers, that's not what I calling them
To Danr: Fuse didn't blow, none want to run

Well, in order to provide accurate information, you'll just have to take the long trek to the basement. We don't care what you're calling them, but in order to provide useful information we actually do have to know the product numbers.
When the guy at the garage asks you what make and model of the car is, he doesn't expect you to tell him it's a 2 door coupe!
Or at least indicate if it is a 3 volt ProtoSound 2 or 5 volt ProtoSound 2.
Atlantic and NYC have BCS replacements. Q? My Q has the battery in the tender. MTH site shows battery in boiler and wrong screws to remove on mine to separate the boiler & frame
From MTH product search of the cab number, the NYC Dreyfuss appears to be 20-3216-1 or 20-3216-2 (PS2 3V). In my experience, the boards in these things are not all that fragile. I’ve had many derailments and many blown 10A fuses, but never fried a board.
1600 Atlantic, 6193 Q, 5452 NYC. Update 1600 runs in dcs but surges and the signal was 8+. Sound, smoke all work. 6193 will run silently. I 'll look that up tomorrow as it's not in the index or troubleshooting.
Looks like the 1600 Atlantic is 20-3038-1 and the 6193 Q is 20-3048-1 (both PS2 5V).
I would check the tethers to make sure they are fully seated.
Mr. Muffin's suggested one, he didn't have any, I might as well get one for each. Thanks
Again, confirmed item numbers will greatly help diagnose the actual problems. It may be time to find the boxes in the basement.
The first thing you need to do is inventory your collection, either hard copy or software where you can access the items by cab number. Next should be have the engines looked at by a Certified Tech who can put the boards on a Test Assembly. This is not the way to trouble shoot.
