The first extension to the MTH Handcar bumpers didn't hold up for continuous running. Version 2 of the bumper extensions are continuous runners.

The MTH Parts department now has replacement parts available for the handcars. During my bumper trial and errors the short reverse mechanism arm broke. I just ordered a replacement, "9.) Reverse mechanism arm FD4200010 $3.00 black short plastic".
