Learned from the Hard Shell scenery using Hydrocal offering. Enjoyed the fun of Jim Ford's "I Think I Can " video - ya gotta check this one out.
Jim Barrett's Pulling power tests were interesting, especially (for me as I love Magne-traction and have both of these engines) the comparison of early modern era Lionel 785 Hudson (no Magne-traction - 12-13 oz of pull) and early modern era Lionel 783 Hudson (Magne-traction - 17-18 oz of pull). My personal test would not have used a spring scale, I would have hooked the engines up back to back (like I did with my engine and friend's engines when I was a kid) and have an old fashioned pulling contest.
