Ertl K076 Modern Yellow School Bus in 1:50 scale.

mine just came in the mail, fits nicely with my other vehicles and people. not too  big or too small. nice sharp paint and lettering. has operable stop sign. good deal!

sign has to be removed and a small nub between the sign and pins filed down for it to work

Pro hobby ,can you give me some more information as to where you bought it ,i looked on Amazon ,& e- bay not sure where to get it from ,there are many to choose from .  Thanks in advance .

Ertl K076 1:50 School Bus City School District No. O27, Trainz has it for ten bucks.

i found mine on ebay, search 1:50 scale school buses, or ertl k-076. i know trainz has at least one, and theres's at least one other person from what i know. hope this helps you out. i'm really with mine

John ,thanks for responding ,i looked there ,price was good,but $ 16.00 shipping ,i don't think so i will look someplace else ,not that important to me ,i will try e-bay again as tim reilly suggested .

john, glad i could help. i paid 15.00 plus 12.00 shipping. b.n.with box, still cheaper than the k-line k-94444(used 35.00 and up) and it's an inch shorter. 7x2x2 as opposed to 81/4x2 x2

Thats OK Tim i was going to ask what should the measurements be for an o-scale bus ,some sellers don't even give measurements yours is 7x2x2 ,is that about right for o-scale ?,i wouldn't mind if it was a little smaller .

Actually, 7" is pretty small for a school bus.  For 1:48 scale, that would be a 28 foot long school bus.  A nine window bus would be probably around 8" long in O-scale.

i'm a real bargin shopper. my sole income is ss disability, so i've been trying alot of different things. many of my vehicles are kinsfun or kinsmart and some road champs. i've looked at some of these buses 6x11/2x11/2 you can find these at 7-11 or winn dixie, ebay and amazon. i was'nt sure so i was told by a member to check k-line, pricey for used 35.00 & up and found the ertl while looking. i purchase by visual, if it looks too big, i do'nt buy

it's actually 71/4x 2x 2. 1:50 scale and it fits with my lionel tractor trailers and other vehicles and figures

I will keep looking to see if anything gets my attention ,it doesn't have to be exactly o scale ,it can be a little smaller ,as there are some buses that are a little shorter for different uses & it could be plastic also ,i'll see what i can come up with.

Found this bus on Amazon ,perfect size only 6'' long, 1 5/8'' wide ,& 2'' high ,total cost including shipping was $14.59 ,the 8''long bus would have been to long for the space on my layout ,all metal.
