Hi Steve,

I might be interested depending on the condition, price, and the amount the set was run.

If you could supply some pictures of the set, especially of the slide shoes on the engine, that would be great.

1) Is the set new or used?

2) Does the set cars have high or low flanged wheels?

3) Is there any dents or scratches on the set and is it complete?

4) Will the set run on O-27 gauge track with O-27 curves without derailment and with a Lionel KW AC transformer?

I believe the answers to most of the above questions are yes, since it is a "B" type set, but I figured I would double check.

I missed a brand new set that was never run, still in the wooden box, on E-Bay for a really great price, I was disgusted over it.

Thanks,

John

Are you still looking for the B&O ETS set with knuckle couplers?

Thought I would go ahead and post this video I just did for John in case anyone else was curious about these Moguls from ETS.

Sound is not up to modern standards, but not too bad. There is no volume control so it will eventually be drowned out by other track noises. Forward/Reverse only, no neutral. I do not have 027 track, but it easily handles 031 here, so I would think it will not be an issue. It handled my Marx tin 027 switch well as long as the speed was up a bit, but performance on the switches will improve when I'm done cleaning and installing them permanently.  There are no external gears to interfere with switch frogs etc. Trucks, couplers and wheel-sets that ETS used are standard K-Line so the flanges are the same as Lionel etc.

John, I will send more photo's off group.

Steve
