Good Morning Ladies and Gents,

I was born and raised in southern Michigan and many of my memories contain visions of Orange DT&I locomotives pulling freights across the countryside. Fast forward to the early 70's and I was an overhead crane operator at a steel mill loading and unloading hundreds of Evans 70 ton coil cars. Unfortunately (for me) HO has many offerings for this DT&I staple but O gauge has not a one. I'd like a small fleet of these very cool cars but even after a year of looking I haven't been able to find any drawings or plans for the Evans Coil car. Has anyone out there found a book or site containing what I seek that I can gain access to?

You have to do a web search on Google and Bing for the K-Line by Lionel Detroit, Toledo & Ironton Coil Car.

Some hobby shop might still have one around.

Bachmann has all the K-Line O scale cars and can make them at the factory in China.

Bachmann can produce other paint scheme variations.
