I recently seen a small group of Polar Express Christmas layout buildings selling for over 1700 dollars. Well let me say to anyone who thinks that's a deal I have a bridge to sell ya cheap. Pun intended. Anyway, the Polar Village was created from the Pullman City in Chicago so feel free to download architectural blueprints and photos free from the City of Chicago! I have the name of one of the graphic designers who worked on the Polar Express movie. He stated how they came up with the North Pole Village.

https://interactive.wttw.com/ten/towns/pullman  The blueprints from the City of Chicago for Pullman City are  free of charge. Get yourself a laser cutter for around 300 bucks, scan the pictures/ blueprints and with a bit of photo editing you will be print ready. No CAD needed to do this, simple free software comes with the machine. Bought my laser cutter/printer online @ Walmart. I also found textured brick paper on a hobby site that look great.  I am starting some facades and complete buildings now so Christmas doesn't catch me Scrooged!
