I'm kinda new to this so bear with me.
What is considered best practice for extending the power cables of accessories to my power distribution board? The wires are soldered in on the accessory side so I can't just replace them. Do I just put a spade on the other ends and connect to a small terminal block, then a new cable to the distribution board? Another option I don't know about?

That works well. Bringing the accessory wires down to terminal blocks allows flexibility when modifying the accessory setup or removing an accessory for maintenance. And addition of more accessories is made easier too.
That works, but you could also eliminate the terminal block and just extend the accessory wires using a simple butt splice on the accessory wire end and the other end of the new wire extending all the way to the distribution board.
