F/S scale 2 rail

i know this idea has been talked about B4 but it really needs to be addressed. I know we scale people are a small segment of the hobby but what does it take to have our own page to go to. I waste a lot of time looking thru all the gauge toys to find some, if any, scale trains F/S or trade.

Would seriouly like, if we can't get our page, is to have people dealing in Scale start their communications with the word in CAPS, 2 rail or at least allow those selling or trading to post on the 2 rail sight.

I.  We have an excellent search feature available on the OGR forum:

 

1.  Go to "Advanced Search "

2.  Select "For Sale or Trade "sub-forum

3.  Put "2 rail" in the EXACT wording selection

4.  Select sort by Date

5.  Execute

 

Not only do you get the headings of the ad, but you get an abstract as well, since the search is not only in the title but in the body of the text as well.  Easy.

 

II.  I made the mistake of advocating a DCC Forum many moons ago.  Eventually it was added, but I've subsequently been downright embarrassed at how little it's used -- DCC postings usually end up in the 2 rail sub-forum anyway.

This isn't a bad idea.
