I want to share a positive experience that really shows off Nassau Hobbies commitment to customer service.

I called them on Friday afternoon (had another day off school from the cold!) to inquire about the availability of some Fastrack in the "killer" sale. I was politely told that the Fastrack I was looking for was not available in the quantity that I needed. I hung up disappointed, but not surprised, because the whole reason I called was to confirm the quantity they had posted on their website. I have never dealt with Nassau Hobbies and I never gave them my name or phone number.

Several minutes later, I received a call back from the store. The gentleman on the phone (I am ashamed to say that I did not get his name) informed me that they did, in fact, have enough of the Fastrack to fill my needs. I assume that he got my phone number from caller ID and I am glad he did. I promptly placed an order with them for the required Fastrack (and a few other Christmas presents for next year!) and now can proceed with the next phase of my layout.

I value quality customer service over most other things and this fits the bill! Thanks guys, for taking the time to return a call to an unknown train guy. You have gained a customer for life!

I dealt with you a long time ago, in 2004 or 2005.

I had a very good experience purchasing through the site.  I contacted them about how to calculate shippig fees and they emailed back right away.  They (Chris) even contacted me later in the day to clarify some shipping details.  I will definitely be doing business with Nassau Hobby Center in the future.  The order shipped the same day it was placed.  Since I live in Virginia, the product only takes two days to get to me.  I see it is already out for delivery.  Now I don't have to worry about delays because of weather.

Didn't know Lionel selling FULL curve for 084???

O84 only comes in one size. You can call it full or half, whichever you like. Either way it takes 32 o84 sections to make a full circle.

Any Further news about their 031 Fastrack switches or better yet their catalogs?

031 switches are in at Lionel and will ship to us next week. The catalog is delayed till early March now.

   Will place an order for WYE Command Control 072 switch shortly, I need to test it

with my Tin Plate layout, nobody will give me a definite answer on whether the CC WYE 072 switch will accommodate the Lionel 810 Crane Car and the 263E Engine & 12 Wheel Tender, so I will test the CC WYE 072 Switch on my own layout.   Great Price Charlie, I will order one today and one at the end of the month.  Will call in the order

Charlie. Your Feb Fastrack Sale was a great help to me in setting up my FIRST Fastrack layout.  When the final 7 pieces arrive I'll send you a picture of the layout.

Without your great pricing I never would have been able to have this much layout.
