Hi,
I have what seems to be a broken O72 RH Fastrack Switch. I cannot seem to get it to operate properly. When I use the lever to switch directions the machine shakes this one part inside. The non-derailing function also does the same thing as the lever from either isolated rail. I took the motor out and it spins properly just fine either direction.
It was working fine the other week. Not sure what part is broken. I have a video below of it.
I would appreciate some insight to resolve this.

Manually move it to the other position. Then show a video of it snapping to this position.
Rule out the controller by disconnecting it and using a piece of wire to jump the center and thru center and out terminals.
It may be the microswitch behind the segment gear (black thingy that moves) on the side that it's stuck on.
Does the throw bar move freely? Anything small fall in from the track side to bind the bar or points?
the gap for the non derail has either closed or something fell into it causing an electrical connection
It's usually the microswitch, I've had to fix a couple of those.
I know that black gear in the other position does the same exact thing. I'll try removing the with controller from the equation. If its the microswitch thats the two little black boxes on the right of the gear in my video right?
In the meantime I'll go check out the microswitch.

Ok without the switch controller it works. After I reseated the 4 cables for the controller it works fine now.

Sometimes, pushing the controller wires in too far touches other terminals. Don't ask how I know.
