Fastrak switcher making me CRAZY

O-36 FASTRAK turnout:Switch operates fine by remote.When I run a piece of rolling stock,or an engine halfway through the switch track throws.Causing derailment.Checked wiring is wired properly nothing loose no conducting debris on track.Took it apart nothing visually wrong.Removed it from layout set up isolated still does the same thing.Should I try another switch controller?Nick
