Hi all,
MTH just sent out their weekly newsletter advertising the convention car for the October York TCA meet. As usual, the car features an image of the catalog to be released at York. So, it gives us our first peak at the 2013 vol. 1 catalog. In this case, the cover photo is N&W SD-45 #1776 in the Bicentennial paint scheme.
Let the speculation begin!

Looks like they're including the bell and mounting bracket high on the front hood as per the prototype.

Since MTH is keen on NS now I suspect you will see it in RED, WHITE, and BLUE, all black N&W and NS. now which of the SD70ace's will be put out in the first catalog, 10 SD70 ACE's of what and will there be Dummys, I am betting no in the dummy department. I will put in for the boxcar, it looks good.
I see that MTH also raised the price on their York car by $10 to $35.

I'm not the biggest fan of some of the Bicentenial motifs. I must say the SD-45 pictured looks really sharp.
I'm with Jeff I was never a fan of the Bicentennial diesels Now if they did an SDP45 in Erie Lackawanna I would be happy
I have crusaded for the Milwaukee Road Bicentennial SD40-2. If they have a Northern Pacific SD45 I'm toast... It will be time to sell plasma!!

Keith, I wasn't aware that that had been asked for. It is good that MTH is listening. I was wondering why it was being posted on the 18th, instead of the typical monday afterwards.
