All I can say is wow! I just came from many years of HO and the MTH AC-4400 ran out of the box.
Looks and sounds beautiful! I am impressed.

I have 4 Premier, 3-rail, AC4400CW's(BNSF, 2 CP and UP) and yes, they are impressive models. I've never seen a 2-rail version, in person; but, I expect they are standout models.

Cool. Welcome to 2 rail O scale. Did you get one of the new PS3.0 models? The AC44's are pretty big beasts compared to the smaller Dash-8's. Are you planning a future in 2 rail O scale?
I really like mine in BNSF H2 paint, though it is 3 rail.
Can you post a pic of yours?
I have a couple in 3-rail (CNW) and they look and sound great. Welcome to O scale.
They are amazing...
Matt your CNW units are a 10!...Love em...
The newer MTH Premier locomotives are awesome! Those which already come with PS3 are awesome because they will run on DC, DCS and DCC controlled layouts.
Are the MTH PS3 diesels compatiable with the Atlas Gold units, I know the previous units were not.
The heritage 2 BNSF was my first AC4400CW, then the CP Rail two flags unit, followed by the UP grey body livery(I think it was based on the prototype that was formerly Southern Pacific's motive power) and last, the golden beaver clad Canadian Pacific 4400.
MTH offers multiple versions(different features) of their AC powered GE 6 axle; their Canadian Pacific models cabs look great with the number boards located on either side of the nose, of the short hood. For me, the CP units liveries really compliment GE's modern domestic freighter.
Yesterday evening, I was on Youtube looking at MTH's Union Pacific AC4400(wearing UP's standard yellow and grey... livery) and it looked great; I also saw some MTH Norfolk Southern models that really looked good, too.
If you're into modern North American domestic freight equipment; then, MTH's Premier models of the big six axle GE's, are definitely worth looking at...

Just in case some of the viewers, don't know what the BNSF Heritage two livery looks like.

I just found this video of MTH's 2-rail model of the grey UP 4400, I mentioned earlier.

I recently began acquiring severl of the MTH 2-rail units, as those full length pilots and handrails look so awesome. In addition, using a kadee coupler makes the deal even better.
I've began my project of fixing all the pilots on the rest of my fleet and adding full length rails. It is fairly straight forward, but tedious is a good word to describe the process!!

On page 4 of Davy Mac's thread "New garden layout", found on this 2-rail forum, MartyE posted some pictures for me of my Canadian Pacific AC4400CW's, along with an EMD SD9043MAC... getting some sun.
Scroll to the May 24 postings, found a little more than halfway down the page.

Hi Jeff, as you know, Im in the process o fixing the pilots on my diesels as well. I'm just curious as to what you use, or could you post some photos of how you do it? BTW, I will get those three rail wheelsets out as soon as I can. The forecast for my area is for 30 plus inches of snow.
Paul
Paul, the 2-rail wheelsets are going out now as we speak- I'll post some pics of a SD70ACe I just finished which looks as good as factory- I use brass .025 wire that I got from Tichy train group- it bends as easy as anything but retains its shape and is durable.
I also use Plastruct plastic to creat the fill between the pilot and frame. I drill and then tap to hold this to the frame. These units look awesome when done like this...
