Just got a chance to listen to video. Somebody definitely pulled the wrong sound file for the blue comet originally. Now sounds like real engine should. Funny someone at Lionel didn't notice sound descrepency, unless the prototype was OK, but something glitched afterwards so wrong file was pulled for the sound chip programming in china. Who knows but at least fixed. Now if only MTH had that sound....
Got my Blue Comet back a few weeks ago with the new sound file and ran it on the track this past weekend. WoW! Sounds fantastic. Lionel did a great job in fixing this and quick turn around. This may be my new favorite engine, a lot just because of the whistle.
