Hi Bryan,

Your Black & White pic of the crossing, with the Liberty Herald above the cross bucks, also with the steam loco in it, do you have an idea where that pic was taken? Looks like to me like it might be Middlesex Borough, N.J. (Cedar Ave). I also notice a signal bridge in the backround. Grew up in that area! Back then it was the CNJ and the Lehigh Valley Railroad, of course both railroads had their own trackage. The main road running parallel to the R.R. is Lincoln Blvd. Middlesex Borough, at one time, was originally named Lincoln, and it may have been when the pic was taken. Thanks

Hay Joe,

How are you doing these days? Saw your pic of the crossing in Manville, and was wondering if it was 13th St. Cool Pic!!! Oh by the way, helped myself to a couple of tidbits in the backyard, Nyuk Nyuk Nyuk!!! Gonna call you soon, need to talk about your "new state". Need some facts on it!

Interesting system. Wonder how well it works in locals with snow, ice and road plows.

Are most grade crossing accidents because drivers don't see the warning lights and gates? Or from them attempting to beat the trains or stopping on the tracks?

Would seem possible for someone to model with todays electronics.
