Mark. I always thought people were crazy thinking if they asked Menards would make it but have been proven wrong. Here is my request. A road bed for your tube track like Johnsons Rubber Road Bed which still sells great on the secondary market and is very hard to find. It was made in to styles one that was open in the middle with simulated ballast on the edges the other with the whole piece ballasted with slots for the ties. I prefer the first one but would be happy to see either.

I wish Menards would take over the K-Line Shadow rail line.
Dave,
I also love Johnsons and you can add me to the list of folks that wish Menards would pick it up.
FYI : the two styles are for 0 gauge & 027...the one with the ballast on the edge only is for 027 and 0 gauge snuggles down nicely in the three holes of the other.
Is there a reason why this thread is in 3 rail scale sub forum instead of hi-rail subforum?
The Rubber Roadbed would be great, especially in Gray....Hey Menards, how about continuing the Tubular O Gauge and O72 Switches????
Tie placement would be critical and I doubt that Lionel , K-line and Menards O gauge track ties would all line up. They would have to design the roadbed open like the O-27 roadbed that Johnson used to make, that would make the roadbed ubiquous to all manufactures tubular track.

I agree Keith that's why I like the open. I have some O Scale so it has been made before. I accidently purchased some O27 so I know they made 2 sizes of the open.
If they make it I will be in for some.
FYI: The Johnson standard gauge roadbed also was the "drop in" open style and fit ALL tie configurations. The advantages of this rubber roadbed are noise abation and non-slip adhesion.
Mark,
I’d like to see a Dog n Suds drive in. At one time these stands dotted the landscape of the US. Many still exist. This drive-in would be at home on a layout modeling the 1950s to the present.
This building could fit long and narrow area on a layout.
6 or 8 parking stalls total would be enough.
