I love it. Ingenious and simple. Careful placement will give the onlooker a perfect viewing angle for the illusion. It doesn't need any special track, and it's quite convincing when you slow it down to a realistic speed.
I purchased one from a forum member and I'm very happy with the operation. I do have one question. The motor is somewhat loud. I turn down the transformer to 12V for realistic operation and I was wondering if there is a way to dampen the sound. The base is a hollow shell and houses the motor but with plenty of vacant space inside. Any ideas or should I just leave well enough alone?
