Forum slow

Is it my imagination or is the forum much slower the last couple of days?  On some threads, I wait 10-20 seconds before the topic loads.  In the past, very few delays have been observed, this is new behavior only recently.

Before the obvious question, no it's not my machine or my Internet connection, both are quite speedy.

I have noticed the same thing, over the last 2 or 3 days. I am using an Apple "MacBook Air" and Safari, and the other few sites I visit are not as slow.

Work computer (Dell running Windows 7), Home Computer (Macbook Pro), and phone (Droid) all having the same issue too.

That's good, at least I'm not alone.

I haven't noticed anything from multiple PCs and my phone. East coast.

I have noticed it. Sometimes pages are slow to load. Other web sites I go to no problem. Been happening for a while.

I havent noticed anything myself. 

If you have Verizon and are on the east coast this morning, you are probably experiencing problems.  Some sort of massive issue they are having. Even text messages arent flowing.

Yes, I've read that there are/were texting problems out East. I've had no problems this week, but when I do, its usually my ISP.

iPad.....noticed it going a little slower too.....Pat

Could be the east coast, but when I do an Internet speed test, I sure don't see any slowdown.

I changed test servers to an AT&T one in NYC, I'm near Phila.  Still speedy, no issues at all.

 I'll say John!  Above is Fast, DSL would be about 1% of that speed!

Things are running well here in Mexico.

Also enlarging the pictures takes much longer.

I am in Florida, run a Mac Book Pro with Fios connection, I can click on a topic and the page runs up and down and will settle out after a seconds, I have run my Mac cleaner program and it still does the same thing, I have no problem with any other site, this leads me to think  this site has a software problem. Just my though.

Haven’t noticed anything unusual here on the So Cal except the sun is out for a change.

OMG, the upload is frightening, loading a video up to the web must be a painful exercise!

Mine is slow with Windows 98. Probably time to upgrade.

Hi. Not slow at all for me. I own Mac Book Pro. No problems. 

Yes I've noticed the slowness to the OFR Forum as well over the last couple days.  I use a MacBook Pro.  All other internet connections/sites work at normal speed.  Tonight I got on OGR Forum quickly.  

OGR is about the same as other sites ....

i get about 25 Mbps down and 3 Mbps upload speeds ..

I noticed some spotty performance - I just attribute it to server maintenance.  It is smooth loading today.

I live in Mexico, and there are no problems with this forum.

It depends on the day of the week, what the internet's had for breakfast and who's (home vs work) computer I'm using.  I've seen some spotty slowness but for the most part it's business as usual.

   I am on a slow connection most of the time, so load speed is always slow for me. 

  No Android Ive owned has worked well for 1 month total. (typing on #5)

  The last few days, 50% of my posts have failed.  I keep getting dropped and it looses my text. 

  I'd seen the real  'Danger Will Robinson' screen at least 6 times yesterday(not yet today)

If someone else posts while I'm composing I lose it all as well. (three-four days)

"Google-something" pushed an update at me today that caused a full freeze up and two restarts. It changed settings too ( i hate hunting that down, google updates sucks for it, they don't inform users well as a company. (must be lovin FB taking all the heat for that kinda crap over the last few years; wonder what they are up to while folks are distracted?)

What do Wally and the Beaver have to do with this?   

Not like we could put a garden train on it.  

We'd be in a "ward" until "June" if we tried ....😂

Folks...I have also noticed over the last few days especially that during certain times of the day, the forum seems slow.  I have a request in to see if there is a problem.....
