I tried to run my Triplex and all was well. The next time I tried to run it, it wouldn't go forward or backward. There are no cab light indicators (flashes) in the diagnostic reveal of any issues. All of the features work except the movement of the train. Obviously, I don't know if the wheel slip works. Is this something simple or do you think I need to send this thing off to Lionel? Your input is much appreciated.

Sounds like another documented Triplex issue. These have had a myriad of problems already; Sean's Trains has documented some of his issues on YouTube. My Triplex ran great the first time I ran it, and similar to you, it never ran properly since then. It has been at Lionel since mid-November. It sounds like (unfortunately) you may be in the same boat, but I hope that isn't the case.
The cab light comes on and I am not sure if that indicates one flash. One flash is a motor drive train issue. I don't think that is the case simply because a light always comes on until the train starts moving. Thanks for your response.
If the light simply comes on, that's not a diagnostic code. The diagnostic codes blink continuously until reset.
Any suggestions John?

Train Brake?

I don't think we have heard of no movement at all, as one of the issues yet. Are you using a CAB2 or CAB3 App?
Train brake is a good thing to check. Did you try a reset yet?
Mine has been at Lionel going on 2 months also, no word yet and I sent them an e-mail asking on status and no reply.
Sean & John, Thank you for your input. I am using a Cab 2 until it no longer functions. Not a fan of the Cab3 although I have one if I need to use it. As far as the Triplex goes, I can say that I simply overlooked the "brake" feature. I must have brushed it against my leg while walking around the layout. Thank you very much for taking the time. I feel kind of lucky so far as my Triplex has not trucked up to North Carolina.............yet.
Wow, good catch MartyE and Sean I've made the train brake mistake a few times over the years
